He has a wide area of expertise built up over the last twenty five years - Litigation, Planning, Judicial Review [i.e. review of Decisions made by Statutory Bodies and Courts] Employment Law and Conveyancing.

“We are a small but dynamic firm”, he says and one that “punches well above its weight”. We have a long record of providing detailed legal advice and services to clients in a friendly and relaxed manner. It is important that clients know that we will focus quickly and professionally on their problems.”

“In addition we have assembled an experienced team of support staff in our office, and are assisted by a panel of Barristers Engineers and Accountants who have worked with us over the last ten to fifteen years and continue to assist us in providing expert and dedicated advice and services to clients over a wide range of legal areas.

Gerard has appeared as a guest on TV3 Mid day commenting on current legal issues and problems.

Ann Nowlan joined the firm in 1998 after initially working in Dublin where she specialised mainly in Commercial Law and Conveyancing.

Over the last number of years she has established herself as a specialist in the areas of Medical Negligence and Family Law. “Both these areas require a great deal of understanding and patience”,  she says. Clients are often very upset and distressed at what has occurred. It is essential that they are dealt with not only in a professional and competent manner but also in a caring and understanding fashion”.

Ann is a co-founder of the Kildare/Wicklow Collaborative Law Association which provides an alternative procedure for the  resolution of marriage break downs without the necessity of Court proceedings.

Ann is also an accredited Mediator.  Both Collaborative Law and Mediation are acknowledged as providing speedy cost effective and non-contentious methods of dispute resolution.
